N-Acetyl Selank Amidate
N-acetyl Selank amidate is Selank with two chemical end-caps: an acetyl group on the first amino acid and an amide on the last. It is sold only as a 'research' peptide. There are no published studies of this modified form, so what is known about Selank may not apply to it.
Approval status
We found no regulator that has approved it, and no published studies of this form. Its parent, Selank, is not approved by the FDA or EMA, and the FDA says it lacks important information on its safety in people.35
What it’s used or studied for
- No studies
Sold as a longer-lasting or stronger version of Selank. No published study has tested this.
- No studies
Claims about anxiety relief come from studies of Selank itself, mostly small Russian trials, not from studies of this modified form.4
Each label shows how strong the evidence is: an approved use, human studies, animal or lab studies only, or a popular claim with no published studies. Being studied is not the same as being proven safe or effective.
Side effects
There are no human data on this modified form. For the parent, Selank, the FDA says it lacks important information on safety in people.3
Cautions
- The FDA raised concerns about impurities and immune reactions with Selank products. This modified form has not been studied for either.3
